Brandon Wise is Opus One’s Dining Room Manager.
Raised in Rochester Hills, Brandon currently resides
in Troy, Mi. A graduate of Rochester High School, Brandon attended
Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant. At 26, Wise has been
in the restaurant industry for over ten years, and has worked in
every aspect of the business.
Brandon worked as a server and bartender while
attending college, and his early employers included the Rochester
Chop House and Kruse and Muer on Main. Under restauranteur Bill
Kruse he learned a great deal about the importance of outstanding
customer service, which Wise cites as core values.
In 2002 Brandon began working at Bravo! Cucina
Italiana in Rochester Hills, where he was immediately groomed for
a management position. As his responsibilities increased, he quickly
became their head bartender, and soon after a supervisor at one
of Oakland County’s most successful wine & martini bars.
From there he was presented with an opportunity
to open a new martini lounge as their general manager. From its
inception was responsible for every aspect of the business, from
hiring and training an entire staff to the marketing and down to
the building’s décor. This was a project that he was
incredibly passionate about, and when the owner ran out of funding
Brandon was devastated.
In early 2007 Brandon came on as the manager of
Opus One, where he brought his passion for service excellence and
commitment to guest satisfaction to one of the area’s most
highly regarded establishments.
Brandon’s belief is that “it’s
all about you”, and his commitment to serving the finest metropolitan
cuisine is only matched by his dedication to providing a memorable
dining experience to each guest of Opus One.
